Born in Meridian, Mississippi on the fourteenth (14) day of September(Virgo), I, Pat Brown (then Pat Rush),
attended grade school where I participated in, and won, numerous talent shows as a part of my musical beginning.
I attended Harris Jr. College, also in Meridian, where I joined a group called The Dynamics which later
became The Commodores.
As a child, my Idols and babysitters were Al Wilson(Show & Tell), David Ruffin(The Temptations) and Jimmy
Ruffin(brother of David and a great professional singer and song writer) who all pushed or inspired me to continue to sing
and work hard. They gave me encouragement to be successful with my singing career.
After Jr. college, I attended Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, Missisippi where I performed
with numerous local and professional groups. After college, I moved to Jackson, Mississippi where I live at this time.
I have performed with the following artist, either as a a part of their show or as the opening act, such as:
B.B. King, Percy Sledge, Tyrone Davis, Bobby Rush, Al Green, Johnny Taylor, Willie Clayton (my hero) and many many others.
I have performed primarily in the south, but also in Detriot, Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York City, St.
Louis, San Fransisco, Long Beach, Milwaukee, Miami, Helsinki Finland and Amsterdam, Holland.
My wish is that this is only the beginning of a long streak of hit albums that You, the Public, will love
and enjoy, and also that I will continue to give you only the best my music which I feel that You, the public, deserve.
At some point in time," Malaco recording artist Stan Mosley recalls, "I have either opened for or performed in the same
venue as just about every major soul or blues act in the business." Malaco Records President, Tommy Couch Sr. says, "Stan
is a cross between Bobby Womack and Jay Blackfoot, with a little touch of Al Green thrown in."
Stan's first flight
toward fame came in 1974, when he moved from his native Chicago to East St. Louis, Illinois, and joined the soul group The
Sharpees. A year later, his band became Shirley Brown's own and Stan sometimes sang backup for the hitmaking soul diva. In
1976, Stan returned to Chicago and worked the city's vast nightclub circuit, which turned out to be a "pretty good" life,
Stan recalled. His acclaim grew and, for two years running, he captured the important Chicago Music Award (in 1982 and 1983)
for Best Male R & B Vocalist.
By 1986, however, the thrill was gone. "I became disenchanted with the business…and
joined a music ministry known as 'The Company' in Chicago," Stan said. By 1992, he was composing and returned to East St.
Louis to team up with Gus Thorton to write several songs, which were released on Stan's own Stand Up label. "They're very
good songs, but unfortunately I had no distribution," he said.
Then, in the mid-1990s, he signed with a new label "that
I thought was a record company, but it actually was a record store. The results were pretty negative." In 1995 and 1996, he
was performing on tour as the opening act for Cicero Blake, while also serving as Blake's driver and valet. Interestingly,
that is the same way blues giant Bobby "Blue" Bland came up, working for lifelong friend and blues king B.B. King. At the
same time, Stan continued songwriting.
In 1997, fate took him to Malaco Records. Composer William Payton, who had co-penned
Tyrone Davis' 1997 hit single Freak on Malaco, introduced him to Tommy Couch Sr. for a fifteen minute meeting. Tommy agreed
to hear Stan's demo tape "and fifteen minutes ended up being hours-and Mr. Couch signed me to his label!" Stan recalled.
The
year 2004 saw a resurgence of sorts for Stan. He became the CEO on a project with “Double Duo Records” and obtained
a worldwide distribution deal. His current project “Steppin Out” is being co-produced by former lead singer of
Public Announcement “Ace” and Super-Producer “Earl Powell” of Entone Recording.
The year 2005
looks to be very promising for Veteran Soul Singer Stan Mosley, Currently on a World Wide Tour as the opening act for The
Legendary Soul Group “The Chi-Lites”. Stan will be celebrating 35 Years of performing.
Mel is currently in the studio
finishing his much anticipated album. This foot stomping follow-up to 'Nite Out' consists
of fresh, new music with titles such as 'Half Pint Night Tonight', 'Girl, How Do You Do It?', and 'If I Let You Wake Me Up..(Will
You Rock To Sleep?).' Look for it by May 2005!!
For the last couple of years Ive been in contract
dispute with previous management. The legal process had me tied up so that I could not release any new product. This was a
very frustrating period in my career. Some people capitalized on my misfortune by releasing old demos that I had recorded
years before and palmed them off as legitimate Sir Charles Projects. During this period Ive had the time to work on projects
with other artist and to produce what I think is some of my best work. As an artist I really appreciate and love my fans,
they have continually shown their love for me by supporting my concerts and buying my records. With my contract problems behind
me we are about to release a new CD On Sir Charles Jones. But before we do there are a few points that we want to make. First
to the Haters who are running around saying that Sir Charles has lost it. I say get ready for the pure essence of southern
soul and rhythm and blues. These tracks are some of the best Ive produced and will prove that Sir Charles Jones has not yet
reached his peak To The Fans I say thank you in advance cause I know deep down in my heart that if you are a music lover you
will love these tracks. Remember don't buy from bootleggers. When you buy a bootleg you are helping a criminal to steal. They
take my music sell it and we don't get a penny of that money to help pay the bills feed our families or to help us continue
to bring you the Music you love. Don't help them Steal. To My Brothers and Sisters who I have the pleasure of Sharing the
stage with I say lets make this the Hottest Summer Ever, With our new CD comes a Retooled show designed to give the people
what they want. We are gonna take it up a notch, For The Love Of the Music and the Love Of The Fans. So Lets Take It To The
Stage.

Born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama, Omar Cunningham developed a love for music early in his childhood. His first opportunity
to sing came in church, a performance he still has to this day. As a young kid, Omar spent much of his youth surrounded
by music. His mother dated a bass player for a band in Tuskegee, Alabama; a band that went on to become the Commodores. His
grandmother ran a boarding house that played host to the likes of Fats Domino in his touring heyday. Others, such as blues
great Jerry "Boogie" McCain, would even record in the basement of the boarding house.
Omar’s desires to
take his talents to the world started taking shape shortly after. He lived across the street from a club that featured many
local bands. Although he was too young to get in the club, he would sit outside and listen to each night’s performance.
Walter and Southern Soul Artist Mel Waiters are cousins. Walter
doesn't talk much about it because he does not want anyone to assume that he is riding any coat tails. Because
of his parents divorce, Walter wasn't exposed to the Waiter's clan until the two met during a high school talent show which
Walter was performing in and Mel was hosting. Walter says; "I remember going out and seeing Mel perform in different clubs
in San Antonio, I dug his passion, but he was not the reason why I wanted to be in this business....I had been playing for
at least 11 years before I'd met him. We talked about me joining his band for a period, but I wasn't ready back then, I was
playing for a few gospel quartets and was also being approached by Vernon Garrett's back up band "The Moore Brother's
Band; I wasn't ready for them either. Now I know that there was another plan ahead for me, and I'm doing things my way " .
Walter is focusing on making his mark in the traditional and contemporary blues world. In closing Walters says " I want a
BB King, Ray Charles, Hank Williams Senior legacy"
