Jenkins, and Ron Carbo,
while a packed house wait for
them to do what they do. HEY, Sounds like the music

Future stars and yours truly holding down the mic as
Host, it's all good. Each week proves to be

exciting than the previous week as the contestants
duke it out to become the next winner of Southern
Starz.

Whats up good people?
Its has been a lovely week and I had a GREAT weekend. Lets
see, we had the opportunity to check out the "RUDE TOUR"..Yeah thats right The Rude Tour with Mr. Ronnie Perkins. The boy
is crazee off the chain. I think the seventies and eighties got stuck in his and he is making money off of it.. OLD SCHOOL
at its most high. I even saw a Michael Jackson gloved hand. All in all it was worth the travel to Rushton LA. to see Big Cynthia,
Love Doctor, CUPID, Ronnie Perkins and the Marvelous MARVIN Sease. Big Cynthia worked the crowd, I think she even tried to
work this old man's pocket at least the offer was out there,, if you play, you got to pay. Hey the Love Doctor is still slow
rolling it. Cupid did the shuffle and he bought a new dance to the stage. I don't know if many caught on but CUPID had fun.
Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie, what can I say but "FLASH LIGHT"...and everything else including a fog machine. Hey I got sentimental
and thought i was back in the high school gym trying to get my groove on..oops my bad. Reality is this was a show. Mr. Marvin
Sease hit the stage and I think the crowd almost lost it. I say ALMOST. For those that no the man and his music you understand
and feel me. Marvin has been ill and I can remember the first time I saw him. I wanted him to be my CANDY LICKER. Yep, sure
did as many of us horny women did..Now all I have for him is LOVE and RESPECT. He is still trying to do his thang in his own
way but, its truly a task. I dont have to say more if you've seen his show recently.
Life, Age and Time has
a way of playing tricks on us. They make us think we can still do things and it still comes out the same. Where we once could
RUN a FEW MILES in a hour, it now takes a FEW HOURS to WALK a mile. Our Older acts are still out there doing the do...
Sunday
I was back in Jackson at that new spot SIPPI CITY, SIPPI CITY, SIPPI CITY on Livingston Rd. They have live Blues entertainment
on Sundays. I had the pleasure to MC again and the crowd is picking up. They had the Bluesman doing his do..Hurricane Mary,
Hollywood and the ROCK...all local talent but good entertainment.. We working on some things just got to make it do what it
do...Something new, something old but definitely not blue...
Thursday , I'll be going back to Joes place in Greenwood.
Cyreio got that thing jumping. This week we'll have the lovely Pat Brown and Band. I heard Karen Wolfe rocked the house last
week.. Sorry I missed that "Quality entertainment".
Thats whats happening with me. If you got something new

Hey once again I had a BIGGGGGG weekend.
Lets see Thursday night, yep thats right had the experience of a life time. I traveled down the road with my good friend Ms.
Pat Brown to Greenwood Ms and a lil place called JOE'S PLACE. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYREIO...MUCH LOVE to you and
WGNL...They do a Thursday night Juke Joint thang, small, tight, packed...sounds like a personal body part, oops. This club
was full of people , wall to wall they had to turn them away. Bigg Robb and the Problem Solvas were in the house doin what
they. It was a sho nuff partee'. Big Robb stayed true to form. Ladies the Big Man took it off, no shame in his game (sequined
Boxers and Robe) you had to be there. He sang "Come get some BIG MAN LOVE."...and it was all over. The place was'nt BIGGGG
enough for the fun the people were havin....Gotta go back
Friday night I got my Friday night Fish fry on...Yep.
Free Fish and Margaritas and Live Entertainment at Couples here in Jackson...I have to say RED has always been my color,I
look damn good in it...But i met a lady that adds a new meaning to the color RED
The RED AFRO QUEEN, MS SILKY SOL, rocked
the house at Couples....She is Sassy, Nasty, and don't mind tellin whats on her mind. Ladies if you want to no how to
keep your man...check out Silky Sol...Ms Silky says "you need to check out some of those porn movies your man got hidden away,
look at em and then you PRACTICE..PRACTICE..PRACTICE on him".....you'll keep yo man and his money AT HOME..My girl was also
talkin about getting a young man to knock the dust off...I have got to get me one of those dusters...hey! hey!

Yeah I no ya’ll think I got lost…I took a detour through the world of Music…There
is a lot of talent out there and a lot of people trying to work…Have you noticed that the SAME people
are working every where you go. I don’t know if it’s good for the good talent, bad for the bad talent or bad for
the good talent that’s not working, whatever it is, something has to give. I’m not really complaining. Just thought
I’d give you something to think about. Hey promoters, what’s up with that?
I had the opportunity to pop in on Tyrone “Da DON” Davis birthday
party. It was a blast and hosted by my good buddy PAT BROWN. As a special birthday gift to “Da Don”
she did her version of At Last, only hope Etta James don’t get mad cause she wasn’t invited, it was for “Da
Don’”.
As stated by my friend “Stan Mosley”, some of us have a new butt hole
that was opened up as J Blackfoot walked through it. That’s right he was in extraordinary form as he worked
the stage. Mr Archie love was not short stepping either with his begging self. All of them were looking for
some woman, Archie, J Blackfoot the Barkays, Omar, I thought they were looking for
me but, they were still looking when I left. That’s right Omar Cunningham and that damn “Beauty
shop” was there. You know that song just sticks in your head and I don’t even go to a beauty shop…but
love that song. The Barkays, Larry Dotson, James Alexander, what can you say but WOW…..Stan
Mosley still got it going on and can you keep a secret? He has a new CD coming out and a little birdie said hold on
to your socks, shoes and everything else, it’s the bomb. Ms. JODY showed up and showed out as usual, I’m
still blushing. If you have seen her show, you no what I’m talking about. Mose Stovall, he did the do
as well. I also met MR SAM…most artists complain about whose going first. This man got up, hit the stage,
WORKED, came back and sat down. His only words were to the veterans is, ya’ll have plenty of hits, I’m trying
to get some…TRUE TALENT and humble too. Big Crowd, Big fun and a Big time were had by all. Hey Tyrone
“Da Don” Davis, I had a good time, catch you next year.
